VINEYARDS
The vineyards situated at Castellaro at the beginning of the Carrega
Woods are cultivated with the method of integrated fight, following the
treatment indicated in production regolamentations. The use of these low
impact techniques allows the farm to adhere to the Environmental
Agreement to advance substainable agriculture promoted by the Carrega
Woods Park.
The vineyards are formed of Lambrusco, Malvasia, Sauvignon, Barbera,
Bonarda, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Nero, Chardonnet and Sirah
vines.
A rich variety that allows to produce typical wines while permitting
experimentation of new international productions.
Consumer appreciation and positive reviews by famous Italian oenologists
have confirmed the quality of our wines. The winery makes use of modern
equipment and the 2002 production was of 200.000 bottles using 2.200
quintals of grapes.
